We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Portfolio Accountant to join our dynamic team in Dallas, TX.
As a Senior Portfolio Accountant at Presidium, you will play a vital role in managing the accounting functions for a designated portfolio of properties. This includes preparing accurate and timely financial reports, supporting budgeting processes, and collaborating across departments to ensure the financial integrity of each asset.

The accounting department at Presidium provides comprehensive support to our corporate and property operations, ownership entities, and redevelopment projects. Key Responsibilities
• Prepare, review and analyze financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and provide analysis of financial data.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and input journal entries into accounting software system.
• Prepare tax work papers for external tax consultants.
• Prepare quarterly investor reports.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments including A/P, A/R, Operations, and Construction to ensure financial accuracy and alignment.
• Analyze general ledger accounts for discrepancies, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal standards.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Analyze and allocate costs, ensuring consistency with financial planning and reporting objectives.
• Lead and participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
• Effectively manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a deadline-driven environment.
• Train, mentor, and support accounting team members, promoting professional growth and knowledge sharing.
• Foster a positive team culture by acting as a collaborative, supportive, and solutions-oriented team player.
• Other projects/duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degreein Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of property accounting experience,preferably in multifamily real estate or portfolio accounting.
• In-depth understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Proven ability to manage complex accounting tasks and meet critical deadlines.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and mentor team members.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy across all responsibilities.
