About the Role

We're looking for a Regional Sr. Strategic Operations Associate, LATAM to help us scale Uber for Business, one of the most exciting and fastest growing business units at Uber.

In this role, you will get to own and execute regional projects and initiatives that will drive profitable incremental growth for Uber for Business. You will partner with your cross-functional counterparts to deliver elevated experiences to corporate customers, their employees and customers.

This is a hybrid role - our team collaborates in-person out of our incredible office in Mexico City 2-3 days/week. We encourage our employees to work from our office on additional days if they desire to do so.

What the Candidate Will Do

Strategic Program Leadership:

- Lead and oversee strategic programs, including regional Growth Bets (e.g. new mobility launches, new growth channels, new verticals), ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and revenue growth

Cross-Functional Initiative Ownership:- Spearhead the execution of high-impact strategic initiatives across LATAM, collaborating with Product, Sales, Marketing, Support, and other key teams.

- Navigate and manage the complexities of diverse markets, ensuring seamless integration and execution of regional strategies.

Customer Experience Champion:

- Define and refine the value proposition for key products in the region, working closely with regional Sales GMs and the Global Strategic Operations team.

- Partner with regional Mobility Ops teams to launch new products and continuously improve solutions, ensuring a strong customer experience.

Product Strategy and Launch Execution:

- Collaborate with Product and Product Ops teams to develop and execute the product roadmap.

- Lead the launch of new products and features, ensuring they meet regional market needs and enhance customer satisfaction. Provide critical local insights to inform global product development .

- Design and implement innovative solutions tailored to business-specific needs. Lead the operationalization of new ride types and other corporate offerings, ensuring they align with client requirements and market opportunities.

Basic Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in Business Operations, Management Consulting, or Investment Banking with a strong analytical focus.

- Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly identify key performance drivers.

- Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse functions and seniority levels.

- Experience in quantitative analysis, data interpretation, and structured deliverable communication, with SQL knowledge as a plus.

- Advanced problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure challenges into actionable plans.

- Expertise in project management, with experience in setting up and implementing processes from scratch.

- A positive, collaborative attitude with a resourceful and innovative approach to challenges.

- English proficiency

- Experience working with global teams and building relationships across a matrixed organization.

- Experience working in a B2B organization
