Senior Supply Chain Analyst
• Location: College Park, MD or Bothell, WA
• Pay: $88,000-$110,000
• Schedule: Hybrid
In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming our supply chain data into actionable intelligence. You will be responsible for developing, automating, and maintaining dashboards and reports that provide critical insights into our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate is a data-driven storyteller with a solid background in supply chain management who can not only analyze data but also understand its real-world implications, proactively identifying potential issues and driving data-informed solutions. This is a full-time, hybrid-on-site position at our College Park, MD, or Bothell, WA, facility.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Excel, and other business intelligence tools to track and visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory levels, on-time delivery, supplier performance, lead times, and logistics costs.
• Perform deep-dive analyses to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within large datasets. Proactively uncover opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency gains within the supply chain.
• Automate data collection, cleansing, and reporting processes to improve efficiency and ensure stakeholders have access to real-time, accurate information.
• Investigate supply chain disruptions (e.g., stockouts, delivery delays, quality issues) by analyzing root causes and presenting clear, data-backed findings and recommendations to the team.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, accounting, logistics, planning, and manufacturing, to understand their challenges and provide data support to guide strategic decision-making and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for analysis by developing and implementing data validation processes.
You’d be a great fit with:
• Experience working with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite.
• A significant plus: Experience developing applications or scripts within the NetSuite platform (e.g., SuiteScript) to create custom reports, workflows, or integrations.
• Experience with other data analysis tools or programming languages (e.g., Python, R)
• Experience with Google Suite (e.g., Google Docs, Sheets, Slides).
You’d be a good fit with:
• Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience in a data analyst role, with a strong focus on supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, advanced formulas, etc.) and Power BI (or a similar BI tool like Tableau) for data modeling, analysis, and visualization.
• Strong understanding of core supply chain principles (e.g., inventory management, demand planning, Material Requirements Planning (MRP) procurement, logistics).
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently, understand business needs, and identify opportunities for analysis without direct instruction.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
