Job Description
Mission Summary:
You will help analyze, design and test our AV Fault Detection and Response system to ensure we have a safe and reliable product.Â
What you'll be doing:
- Coordinate with hardware and software teams to analyze current and proposed AV designs to identify faults to detect to support safety and reliability goals
- Establish requirements for proposed faults
- Establish V&V plan for the faults to ensure correct implementation
- Coordinate with development teams to ensure faults get implemented
- Support testing on execution of V&V plan
- Analyze on road data to validate fault behavior is behaving as expected and support triaging if identified issues for potential new faults
What we're looking for:Â
- Experience in control system fault detection
- Experience with V&V activities (software testing, Software in Loop, Hardware in Loop, Vehicle Integration)
- Experience in Autonomous Vehicles or other robotics industries
- Ability to adapt traditional systems engineering and test activities to an Agile environment
- Excellent communication skills; effective in communicating complex concepts and driving resolutions
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with other teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
