Senior Tax Accountant

Senior Accountant On-site | $70,000–$95,000 Location: Sabre Springs / Poway area We’re hiring a Senior Tax Accountant on behalf of a planning-focused, full-service CPA firm in San Diego. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts • Support tax planning and research efforts for a variety of client types • Assist with reviewing tax forms such as property tax returns and year-end informational schedules • Analyze financial data including balance sheets and income statements • Identify potential tax issues and provide recommendations • Communicate with clients and team members to ensure accurate and timely deliverables Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting • CPA or EA preferred (or actively pursuing) • 3+ years of public accounting experience with a CPA firm • Experience with QuickBooks and Excel (Lacerte is a plus) • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client engagements • Clear written and verbal communication skills • Eagerness to continue learning and developing professionally If you’re looking for a place where you can grow your tax expertise and work alongside a fun, experienced team, we’d love to connect.
