Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. This individual will play a key role in managing complex tax preparation and compliance projects, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to our clients. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, experienced tax professional who excels in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and thrives on solving challenging problems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the preparation and review of complex tax filings (individuals, partnerships, S-corps, C-corps, trusts).
• Solve challenging tax issues through smart planning, research, and client education.
• Own client relationships—proactively manage communications, set expectations, and build trust.
• Review, coach, and mentor junior accountants; provide feedback that fuels their growth.
• Champion continuous improvement across workflows, tools, and client service delivery.
• Contribute to firm-wide discussions around process, client strategy, and service innovation.
• Stay sharp on evolving tax laws and help clients (and the team) stay ahead.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, audit-ready, and timely.
• Use tools like ProConnect and Lacerte with confidence, and help the team upskill.
Key Qualifications:
• CPA or EA designation.
• 5+ years preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Confident with ProConnect, Lacerte, and Excel.
• A strong communicator who enjoys client interaction and problem-solving.
• Bonus: Experience mentoring junior staff or leading small teams.
