Senior Tax Accountant

We're working with a well-established HVAC contractor in Seattle's SODO neighborhood that's looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team on a 9-month contract (with potential to extend). This role will be primarily onsite Monday-Thursday with Fridays remote. The Senior Tax Accountant will step in ahead of a planned leave, with two months of cross-training before taking ownership of income, B&O, sales/use tax filings, and multi-state compliance. This person should be confident working independently, comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and capable of shifting between tasks based on monthly, quarterly, and annual priorities. Strong experience with ProSystem FX and/or CCH Axcess is required, along with advanced Excel skills and a background in both income and local tax. You'll also supervise an AP associate and collaborate with the broader accounting team.
