Senior Tax Manager

Future is listed on the main market of the London Stock Exchange. Therefore daily priorities can change to reflect the fast moving nature of our business. The tax team needs to be flexible and responsive, often working at pace to resolve emerging issues. As a listed group strong tax governance is critical to our success. The Senior Tax Manager provides daily management of tax processes and risks. 

What you'll be doing...

As Senior Tax Manager, you will manage the group’s material tax affairs. You will also:

• Manage the preparation and/or outsourcing of direct and indirect taxes in relevant jurisdictions..
• Develop an appreciation for the commercial business in the Group to identify tax sensitivities, provide tax advice and support.
• Forecast, manage and report jurisdictional taxes as part of the group’s consolidated tax reporting.
• Support the Head of Tax with structuring tax for M&A projects, and DD processes across the Group.
• Manage Tax Authority audit, with advisor support.
• Participate in the Group's management of its transfer pricing positions. 

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve...

• Proven track record of managing tax compliance and business advice in an in-house environment. Good numeric capability, ability to manage practicalities of in-house tax accounting and advisor relationships. 
• Ability to explain complex tax issues to a range of internal stakeholders who are unfamiliar with tax. 
• You will be an organised individual, able to deal with a broad range of issues over the course of the day.
