The opportunity

This is a new opportunity to join the Customer Experience team as our first Senior Technical Content Writer. You’ll play a critical role in our scale-up journey by taking ownership of the content to be used in Request for Proposal (RFP)s, security questionnaires, and in our new knowledgebase with the goal of helping customers self-serve and get the best from the Immersive Labs Platform.

You will use your digital copywriting skill and ability to build consensus with a variety of stakeholders to explain complex concepts in simple terms blending words with other media.

Your main responsibilities (we're scaling fast, so these may change as we grow):

• Write knowledgebase articles that explain how to use and get value from Immersive Labs to deliver their desired outcomes

• Maintain and update RFP and security questionnaire response content within our internal tool- Ombud

• Reduce the volume of frequently asked questions which are handled by our Product, Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Security & Risk, Support, and Customer Success teams

• Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Product Managers, and Product Marketing to understand and agree a consensus on the information we want to convey

• Monitor data on usage and engagement with support content, as well as ticket data in Zendesk improving or removing ineffective content

• Work with our Experience Design team to gain an understanding of user needs, guidance on how to structure the knowledgebase information architecture and to commission diagrams and videos to support your articles

• Put the user at the heart of Immersive Labs writing projects without losing sight of commercial objectives

Success in this role will depend most on your approach, underlying skills and potential for growth, even if some of the above would be new to you. You should apply if you have:

• Commercial experience writing support content for software products evidenced by case studies showing the outcomes of your work and how they achieved them

• Background in cybersecurity and foundational concepts

• You can explain complex concepts in simple English

• Strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in cross-functional collaboration

• Experience interpreting web analytics data
