Our team is responsible for creating the best shopping experience for customers wherever they go on their favorite Android and iOS devices. As a Sr. Program Manager - Tech the Mobile Shopping Foundations organization you will contribute to the next generation mobile foundation to power fast, fluid, and interactive experiences on mobile devices worldwide. Amazon's Mobile Shopping App Release team leads releases for mobile shopping apps for IOS and Android. The Sr. TPM would take ownership of the quality of the release candidates we ship to our customers. Key job responsibilities We are seeking a Senior Technical Program to lead programs to deliver bar raising customer experiences with Amazon's Mobile Shopping App Release team. The right candidate will possess a strong program management background, will have demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects, and will have a well-rounded technical background in current web technologies, especially mobile shopping app releases. As a senior TPM, you will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. An ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner is expected. Lastly, you will be expected to run initiatives that span the larger DEX org (beyond the team you will be supporting) Responsibilities include driving projects from design to release, defining program roadmap, engage with internal and external stakeholders, translate business requirements into technical specifications, and managing global production launches. You will be expected to make appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market, clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
