Summary of Job:

The Senior Travel & Expense Analyst is an integral part of the Travel & Expense function supporting the Concur system. The Senior Travel & Expense Analyst will be responsible for the management and administration of all functional aspects of travel and expense reimbursement including company credit card administration and expense reimbursement system administration. The Senior Travel & Expense Analyst will be a key contributor in the continued movement towards the creation of more prompt, useful, and consolidated reporting.

Essential Functions:

Review employee expense reports for all North American entities. Ensure compliance with Company T&E policy.  Provide both T&E system and policy training to new employees.  Field calls from Salesforce. Support Business on expense reporting, travel, and corporate card needs.  Manage relationship with Expense Reporting vendor (Concur/Certify).  Super User in Expense Reporting (Concur) system.  Set up new employees in the Expense Reporting system. Remove terminated employees.  Maintain all master data in Concur ensuring alignment with HR.  Maintain Workflow in T&E system.  Provide T&E Corporate cards to Employees. Cancel for terminated employees.  Support Business during the termination process, reconciling Amex balance and final expense report submission.  Develop and maintain audit rules in Expense Reporting systems.  Define expense categories to meet the needs of Accounting, Tax, FP&A, and Compliance.  Support Compliance with Sunshine Act requirements and reporting needs.  Track expense report usage and support Manager to ensure contract aligns with current Business needs.  Release expense reports for payment.  Manage relationship with Credit Card Vendors (Amex).  Review Credit Card delinquency reports. Follow up with business to prevent late fees.  Reconcile P-Card Statements.  Provide continuous feedback to Controller & CFO with regards to changing travel needs of Business  Lead projects with direct impact to expense reporting system (Concur) Project-related tasks:  Train & Support business on unified T&E policy. Support on boarding of employees of Kyowa Kirin Canada Inc. Develop processes or new platform for Canada Salesforce.

Job Requirements:

Education Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or other Finance related field preferred.

Experience 3+ years of T&E and Expense Report Management. Pharma experience is a plus. Ability to work in a dynamic environment with an attention to quality and timely analyses and reporting.

Technical Skills Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Non-Technical Skills Highly motivated and great attention to detail. Strong endurance to work under tight timelines and complex/changing situations. Excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Broad level of interpersonal skills and flexibility. Cultural sensitivity and ability to develop consensus within a multinational organization.
