Senior UX Designer

Location: Burbank, CA (Hybrid – Tues & Thurs in-office)

Duration: 12 Months

Project: This is a deeply collaborative environment with multiple designers working across multiple projects and business units within Client. Your role will require you to provide User Experience services to the entirety of Client. This is a very rewarding position with the opportunity to create and improve engaging products that are used daily by Client employees as well as external clients. You will be working with a high-profile media company and will get networking opportunities with multiple teams cross-functionally.

Job Responsibilities:

• Engages with the business development team and/or customer early on to seek a deeper appreciation of the customers’ business problem/goals.
• Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
• Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific data analysis
• Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan overall design.
• Ability to create and use UX artifacts such as, User Journeys, Flow Maps, Wireframes, Interactive Prototypes, Design System
• Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams: Business Stakeholders, UX team and Development Teams.

Must Have Skills:

• Advanced knowledge in Figma.
• Will be used to prototype and design within this role.
• Experience in designing enterprise software.
• Looking for UX designer who has previously worked on internal software for prior organizations.
• Excellent visual design skills – shown in Portfolio.
• Want to see engaging design within examples on portfolio.

Technology requirements:

• Experience in professional UX development.
• Experience with data driven UX development.
• Degree or certifications required: None

• 10+ years of experience
• Required background/ Skillsets:
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong visual design skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field
• Adobe Creative Suite experience
• Intermediate knowledge of using Miro (team uses to collaborate workflow and whiteboard together)
• M365 suite experience
• Experience in software design and development.
