We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to join our Health & Finance Design team to focus specifically on our Finance brands. The candidate must be a creative and effective collaborator who can work with other members of the design team, product, engineering, QA and business stakeholders to develop and execute a forward-thinking user experience and help elevate our visual design sensibility that's integral to all our brands.
About Your Role:
As a Senior User Experience (UX) Designer on Dotdash Meredith's Health & Finance Design team, you will work with editorial, product managers, UX researchers, and engineers to shape a premium product design experience that helps millions of monthly users answer questions, solve problems, and find inspiration on topics they deeply care about.
About Your Contributions:
Designing - approach product design with a user-first point of view, in addition to embracing and distilling input from the team and stakeholders.
Collaborating - work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the UX design aligns with the overall product roadmap and business goals.
Delivering - responsible to see design (in Figma) through all stages: design discovery, design research, prototyping, build, and iteration
Testing - conduct user research and usability testing to gather qualitative and quantitative data, and leverage this data to improve and iterate.
Reviewing - knowledge of when to advocate for moving forward with a decision or when to adapt a design that might be too complex.
Anticipating - anticipate obstacles and effectively communicate and manage risks with product managers and key stakeholders
Maintaining - maintain and evolve a scalable design system that upholds our brand identity and enhances usability.
Nice to Have - a news background and ability to adapt to the requirements of news as it happens
About You:
- You have at least 5 years' experience in product design, UI/UX, digital design
- You have an online portfolio demonstrating superior product design experiences
- You are passionate about user-centric design principles, and putting the user first
- You have strong attention to detail-have the eye to discern when something looks off, and the proactive attitude to follow through to fix it.
- Comfortable being an outspoken advocate for a user-centric perspective to the wider organization
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects at a time
- You are proficient with standard UX software such as Figma
- Experience crafting for internal tools or enterprise web-based products is a plus

Pay Range
Salary: $84,800 - $106,000
The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
