An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Visual Merchandising Executive on a 12-month fixed term contract to join our Visual Merchandising team for a maternity cover position. The position will be based in the central London Head Office and will report to the Visual Merchandising Manager.

The role includes the following responsibilities:
Promotional sites: Design and manage the installation of promotional sites across Travel Retail Europe, Middle East and Africa, and ensure that they are built within budget and to the brand's design and quality standards.
Merchandising guidelines: Produce and implement Visual Merchandising planograms, in liaison with the brand in New York, Store Design and the Marketing Manager, and ensure that they are sent to the field teams within the required time frame.
Communication bands: Ensure the pro-active, timely and efficient production, translation and distribution of communication bands.
Transparencies / prints: Ensure the timely and efficient ordering, cropping authorisation and distribution of transparencies as part of rollouts or specific print orders within the required frame and according to the exact brand's specific guidelines. Ensure that the lightbox database is always updated. Provide pdf layouts to Marketing if requested.
Communication: Communicate and coordinate with all relevant internal teams (Store Design, Marketing, Finance and Field teams, ensuring the timely visibility of project information.
Suppliers liaison: Manage tenders, collateral quotes, and provide shopfitters with all the relevant project information, technical details, materials and brand guidelines. Ensure excellent follow up on projects before and after installation is complete.
Monitoring of budget: Monitoring of project-specific purchase orders and invoices to ensure all VM related projects are completed within budget.
Open Sell / Access hardware systems: Support the store Design and Project Executive, to ensure the timely and pro-active ordering of open sell hardware and tester units for new store openings.
Qualifications
The Senior Visual Merchandising Executive works closely with the Visual Merchandising and Field Visual Merchandising teams, the Marketing team, and the brand in New York. The successful candidate will understand the technicalities of Visual Merchandising, be creative with excellent communication and negotiation skills. They will be a dynamic, creative and confident Designer and Project Manager with experience of monitoring budgets and meeting timelines. Attention to detail and good follow-through are essential. Candidates should possess a good knowledge of design programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop and ideally 3D design programs. They should have excellent interpersonal and organisation skills, and enjoy a flexible, team environment working to deadlines.
Travel within the region will be required to support 'in-store' merchandising particularly for flagship stores. Candidates will also have the ability to use initiative and be proactive and willing to adapt and take on new challenges.
