Tripwire Interactive is looking for talented, dedicated, and passionate individuals to join our team. We started out in 2005 as a independent video game developer and publisher, known for first-person shooters like Red Orchestra, the wildly popular Killing Floor series, and more recently, the action RPG Maneater. Responsibilities:
- Roughout models for early rigging and prototyping
- Help design and create game ready assets using the latest techniques for use in the world
- Responsible for modeling incredibly complex weapons and vehicles
- Ability to model from concept images very accurately
- Create High Quality PBR textures (Substance Designer/Painter)
- Set up Materials and shaders to achieve a high quality result (UE5)
- Implement assets into UE5
- Work Closely with Animators and Tech Art to achieve a high quality and functional result
- Help manage all outsourced weapon and vehicle art and finalize assets as needed
- Be able to work autonomously if needed
- Take Feedback well and implement it
- Ability to adapt to a variety of visual styles, especially realism
Requirements:
- Hard surface artist with 4+ years experience in the games industry
- Shipped at least one title
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant Software Knowledge of Modo/3dsMax/ and/or Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter
- Passionate about the Craft
- Good eye for detail
- Knowledge of current Industry Standards and pipelines
- Strong Knowledge of weapons and weapon functionality

Core Hours 10am to 4pm EST
Salary: $65,000-$85,000 Depending on Experience
