In this role you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As a Senior Workday Consultant you will serve as a client‑facing advisor working closely with clients to deliver high‑quality Workday solutions and provide strategic guidance throughout the project lifecycle. You will apply a deep understanding of Workday methodology and related deliverables to design configure and deploy solutions that optimize business processes and drive tangible business value. Your work will support clients in aligning strategy process and technology to improve efficiency reduce costs and enhance organizational performance. You will also have opportunities to broaden your skills work across functional areas take on new challenges and gain exposure to a wide range of industries.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Design build test and deploy Workday integrations using Workday Studio EIB Core Connectors and Workday Web Services.
- Collaborate with HR IT and business stakeholders to understand integration requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Maintain and enhance existing integrations to support evolving business needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues ensuring data accuracy and system reliability.
- Work with REST/SOAP APIs OAuth and JSON to connect Workday with external systems.
- Ensure compliance with Workday security protocols and data governance standards.
- Document integration designs configurations and support procedures.
- Manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
Required Professional and Technical Expertise
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Workday integrations.
- Proficiency in Workday Studio EIB Core Connectors Workday Web Services and XSLT/XML.
- Strong understanding of HRIS systems HR business processes and data structures.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs OAuth and JSON.
- Familiarity with Workday Security Business Processes and Reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
- Workday certification in integrations or related modules.
- Experience in Agile or DevOps environments.
- Knowledge of middleware platforms or integration tools beyond Workday.
- Exposure to global HR operations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with Workday Extend or Prism Analytics.
