Senior/Staff Software Engineer, Frontend

Remote, but overlap with PST hours is required.

We're seeking a frontend engineer who is passionate about building and enabling user-facing experiences that span both the frontend platform and UI to solve our most challenging and pressing problems related to knowledge capture, discovery, and retrieval. If you are someone who specializes in frontend development but comfortable working in a full-stack capacity, we'd love to meet you. 

As a Frontend Engineer, you will

• Be responsible for building platform-level capabilities for the Mem app frontend and UI, unlocking intuitive and delightful end-to-end workflows for our users.
• Engage in feedback loops with designers, engineers, and users to update and refine the product's frontend.

You may be a good fit if you

• Have strong experience in frontend engineering building end-to-end user solutions. Prior founder or startup experience is a plus.
• Are proficient in React, Javascript, and CSS. Knowledge of Typescript is a plus.
• Have experience building a frontend platform. 
• Are comfortable with build tooling (Vite, Source Maps, lazy loading, optimizing asset delivery, HMR, etc). 
• Have strong opinions on frontend architecture (authentication and routing, MobX store and structure design, offline architecture, testing, etc). 
• Can build end-to-end full-stack functionality. 
• Enjoy working collaboratively with designers and engineers.
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Are a self-starter with the ability to work independently and solve complex problems.
