The Service Delivery Manager plays a critical role in leading the successful delivery of GIS and Microsoft 365 (M365) projects, service requests, and managed service operations. This role ensures that both rapid-response tasks and long-term projects are executed efficiently and effectively. The Service Delivery Manager leads technical teams and Centers of Excellence (CoEs), driving innovation, quality, and continuous improvement across all service areas. They serve as a key liaison between clients, internal teams, and leadership, ensuring alignment with business goals and client expectations. Key Activities: β€’ Lead GIS and M365 project delivery, ensuring alignment with client goals, timelines, and technical standards. β€’ Manage technical staff and Centers of Excellence, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. β€’ Oversee fast-turnaround service requests and longer-term strategic initiatives with agility and precision. β€’ Develop and maintain project roadmaps, timelines, and resource allocation plans. β€’ Facilitate client engagement, including solution presentations, training, and ongoing support. β€’ Coordinate managed service operations, ensuring consistent performance and proactive issue resolution. β€’ Conduct project meetings, capturing decisions, action items, and next steps to maintain momentum. β€’ Monitor team performance and workload, adjusting resources to meet delivery expectations. β€’ Identify and mitigate risks, escalating critical issues and proposing alternative solutions when needed. β€’ Promote best practices and reusable solutions through CoEs and technical leadership. β€’ Provide coaching and feedback to team members to support growth and improve future project execution. β€’ Analyze project outcomes, document lessons learned, and implement process improvements.
