Service Electrician – Residential & Commercial

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Residential and Commercial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair within residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Commercial Electrician will work on various construction sites, ensuring that all electrical work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industry standards. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures. • Utilize tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues. • Ensure compliance with NEC regulations and safety standards on all job sites. • Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently. • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues. • Provide solutions for electrical problems using logic controllers and other technologies. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites. Skills • Proven experience as a Residential and Commercial Electrician or similar role in a construction environment. • Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical systems. • Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety practices. • Familiarity with using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. • Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to challenges. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various construction settings.
