Job Summary:
Betros Plumbing is seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Service Manager to lead our service department. The Plumbing Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing a team of service plumbers, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing payroll, and driving the success of our service division. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge in plumbing, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Team Management:
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of service plumbers, ensuring efficient workflow and high morale.
• Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team members' technical and customer service skills.
• Schedule and assign daily service jobs to ensure timely completion.
• Customer Service:
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and cultivate new ones.
• Address and resolve customer complaints or service issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure that all service work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Operational Oversight:
• Oversee the daily operations of the service department, including work order management, scheduling, and dispatching.
• Monitor and control inventory levels, ordering necessary parts and supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and building codes.
• Financial Management:
• Assist in the development of the service department budget and monitor financial performance.
• Track service job profitability and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide regular reports on service department performance to upper management.
• Manage payrollfor the service department, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for all employees.
• Sales & Marketing:
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote service offerings and generate new business.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services during client interactions.
• Safety & Compliance:
• Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed by the service team.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the plumbing industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems and repair techniques.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in payroll management, with a strong understanding of payroll software and procedures.
• Proficient in using job management software and other relevant technology.
• Service Titan experience is a plus.
• Valid Florida plumbing license or ability to obtain one is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
