Service Plumber

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems, be able to work independently or as part of a team, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The Plumber will ensure that all work is completed to code and meets safety standards. Duties • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings. • Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions. • Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential problems. • Collaborate with contractors and other tradespeople on construction projects. • Utilize hand tools and power tools for various plumbing tasks. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. • Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Skills • Proficient in basic math for measurements and calculations. • Experience in construction plumbing, including residential and commercial projects. • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for installations and repairs. • Knowledge of remodeling practices related to plumbing systems. • Skilled in using hand tools effectively for various tasks. • Familiarity with pipe threading techniques for joining pipes. • Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues effectively. • Experience as a maintenance person is a plus, providing versatility in tasks performed. • Ability to read schematics for accurate installation and repair of plumbing systems. • Valid commercial driving license is preferred for transporting tools and materials.
