Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our team, providing top-notch maintenance and repair services for HVAC systems and electrical components across various Apartment properties in the Dallas area. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and hands-on experience in HVAC systems. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving capabilities who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities will include performing regular inspections and maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining accurate records. The technician will also collaborate with team members to effectively address technical challenges and must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts. A strong emphasis will be placed on quality workmanship and staying updated with industry standards through ongoing training.
Responsibilities
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• HVAC certification
• EPA certified
• Experience in HVAC systems maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong time management skills and punctuality.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, if required.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and practices in service operations.
Experience
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance on Apartment properties around Dallas.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues related to HVAC units and other mechanical equipment.
• Provide timely and efficient service to customers in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while on the job.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding service needs and recommendations.
• Collaborate with team members to address and resolve technical challenges.
• Keep service vehicle organized and stocked with necessary tools and equipment.
• Demonstrate a detail-oriented approach to every task, ensuring quality workmanship.
• Attend training sessions and workshops to stay updated on industry standards and practices.
• Ability to work weekends and take on-call rotating shifts is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
