Job Description
In the role as Tender Specialist Service, you will be part of our Grid Automation Europe tendering team within the Hitachi Energy Group. The tendering organization is truly international and located in various locations across Europe. We operate in a dynamic and growing market and are now seeking to strengthen the team with experienced tendering professionals with home base in one of our office locations across the continent.
Your responsibilities:
• In this role you are accountable for the service tenders, from the initial request to contract closing and handover to operations.
• Define the services covered by the agreement, including the parameters for service delivery, support hours, response times, availability, performance metrics and support options, considering Sales strategy and Customer needs.

• Your field of operation will be substation automation and mission critical communication, providing the opportunity to handle a variety of tenders in our served markets.
Key activities:
• Facilitate communication and interactions between Sales and Operations to define the service scope and requirements, from the early pursuit stage until final contact negotiation and signature.
• Preparation of commercial, legal and technical offers aligned with Customer's expectations and within the required timeframe.
• Preparation of cost calculation, reports, internal risk reviews and tender submission approvals.
• Continued improvement of the tender documentation and associated information.
Your profile:
• Higher education (e.g., bachelor's degree) in engineering or similar.
• Technical understanding of substation automation, control & protection and mission critical communication solutions.
• Previous professional experience in service related activities is a plus.
• Understanding and experience of tendering & commercial processes.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional requirements towards the completion of the proposal.
• Customer oriented and team player, with good communication skills.
• Language skills: Fluency in English required and other European languages are an asset
