Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support for new development of sites, pages, lists/libraries, forms and workflows; migration to newer versions of software and operations and maintenance of new and existing sites from current version of SharePoint.
  • Developing Web Applications in the Chief Counsel offices utilizing commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) packages for Microsoft M365 SharePoint Online, Microsoft SharePoint Services as well as custom solutions using Microsoft’s Power Platform applications: Power BI, Power BI Reporting, Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • System usage training for the customers and rapid response to all technical problems reported by the customers or by Information Technology (IT) staff.
  • Implement an improved Chief Counsel (CC) Intranet and other SharePoint sites/site collections within the new M365 Cloud environment or Amazon Web Service cloud or cloud to cloud.
  • Provide routine status reports on progress and report monthly to the Business System Planner (BSP) for Chief Counsel, his delegates and any other Counsel executives designated by the Associate Chief Counsel (Finance and Management).
  • Assist the Government staff in operating, maintaining, and administering the Chief Counsel Intranet, Case Collaboration, Administrative, eCase, and other SharePoint sites/site collections.

Requirements:

  • Experience using Microsoft M365 environment.
  • Experience with migrating to M365 SharePoint Online from SharePoint on-premises.
  • Experience with migrating to an Amazon Web Services (AWS) from either a Microsoft Cloud environment or SharePoint on-premises.

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2; Microsoft Windows Server 2019; Windows 10; Windows 11; Microsoft M365 Suite; Microsoft Teams 365; Microsoft Exchange Online; Microsoft Office 2016; Microsoft InfoPath 2013; Silverlight; Adobe Acrobat Pro DC; Custom Off the Shelf (COTS & Custom Applications); Microsoft SOL Server 2014 - current version we use; Microsoft Project; Microsoft Visual Studio – 2016; M365 SharePoint Online; SharePoint 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013 & 2019; SharePoint 2013 Server; SharePoint Designer 2013; Microsoft Security- Patches, Tools, etc.
  • Virus Protection/Intrusion Prevention (Symantec, SecureZip); MITS-CSIRC Security Compliance; Law Enforcement Manual (LEM) Practices; Group Policy - Change Submission Process; Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP); Structured Query Language (SQL); Microsoft monitoring and operations servers SCOM - System Center Operations Manager; SCCM - System Center Configuration Manager.
  • Oracle, DB2, ASP, JavaScript, Java, .Net, Visual Basic, VBScript, PowerShell, HTML, XML, other Legal Research and Software Applications.
  • Internet Information server (IIS) v8
  • Authentication protocols: NTLM, Kerberos, Claims-Based, related configurations for SharePoint, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and web server(IIS).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Active MBI Clearance is highly preferred.

Minimum Eligibility: US Citizenship/Green Card holder (GC at least 3+ Years)
