What we need:

Mohawk is looking for a Specialist to support our client relationship with Sherwin Williams. This role will be responsible for driving profitability and sales revenue across regional Sherwin Williams stores. The Specialist will also establish strong relationships with Sherwin Williams regional, city and store level management, critical in building trust and driving sales, as welk as provide strategic direction for products, programs, marketing and sales for Sherwin Williams.

What you'll do:

  • Monitor accounts for performance against established objectives and take the appropriate action to achieve established sales targets/programs and improve performance
  • Evaluate effectiveness of sales and marketing strategies and programs and make recommended changes to achieve goals
  • Performs analysis on opportunities and develop forecasts by product, as well as develop other statistical reports as required on a timely basis
  • Be responsible for initial sales volume plan, contribute to overall division plan strategies, goals and metrics, including sales, margins, profit plan, inventory and product programs
  • Approve and process legitimate sales expenses, within limits of authority
  • Coordinate, manage and attend annual conventions, tradeshows and apartment association events

What you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 7+ years of job specific experience with a minimum of 3+ years in a sales management capacity for an organization of comparable diversity and scope
  • Sales, marketing and product development background

  • Driving optimization and results through reporting and analytics

  • Exercising independent judgment and demonstrating solid time management and organizational skills, including the ability to meet tight deadlines and schedules
  • Responding quickly to customer/consumer issues with a positive and empathetic attitude
