Simulation Integration Engineer - Software-In-Loop (SiL) Controls Integration and Simulation Development

Description

• Identify technical requirements, schedule, and deploy simulation projects to enable vehicle virtual design, development, and validation (VDDV) and integration of conventional ICE passenger vehicle and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) Electronic Control Units (ECUs) including Engine Control Module (ECM), Transmission Control Module (TCM), Battery Energy Control Module (BECM), Vehicle Integration Control Module (VICM), Vehicle Extension Control Module (VECM), and Battery Safety Manager (BSM). Develop, integrate, and release Virtual ECU based Software in the Loop (SIL) packages of Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) Propulsion systems, using dSPACE Veos, MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, Simscape, ETAS INCA, and Vector CANalyzer.
• Integrate simulation components, Level 4 virtual ECUs (vECUs), plant models, behavioral models, sensor models and actuator models, into virtual Software in the Loop (SIL) packages.
• Perform peer reviews and unit level testing using GMSIM, AUTOVAL, specific behavior tests (SBT), key behavior tests (KBT) checkouts, Multiple Condition Coverage (MCC) and Modified Condition Decision Coverage (MCDC) to reduce rework requests and achieve zero software defects.

Additional Description
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
One (1) year of experience as an Engineer, or related role.
Must also have experience with: performing peer reviews and unit level testing using specific behavior tests (SBT), key behavior tests (KBT) checkouts, Multiple Condition Coverage (MCC) and Modified Condition Decision Coverage (MCDC) to reduce rework requests.
