Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring efficient production processes and optimal resource utilization.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Monitor production schedules and ensure timely delivery of products according to quality standards.

2. Team Leadership:

  • Lead and manage a team of operators providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement.

3. Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure the facility complies with all relevant OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards.
  • Develop and enforce safety protocols, conduct regular safety audits, and investigate any incidents or accidents.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and ensure all necessary permits and licenses are up to date.

4. Resource Management:

  • Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize the use of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with procurement to manage inventory and supply chain logistics.

5. Quality Control:

  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure products meet or exceed customer and industry standards.
  • Address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Work closely with the quality control team to monitor and improve product quality.

6. Reporting and Communication:

  • Prepare and present reports on operational performance, safety, and other key metrics to senior management.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for any on-site issues or emergencies.

Qualifications:
• Several years of experience in a managerial role within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in an industrial environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• Certifications in project management, safety, or relevant industry-specific credentials.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Work Environment: The Site Manager will work in an industrial environment, which may involve exposure to noise, dust, and other conditions. The role will require work outside regular business hours to address emergencies or meet production deadlines.
