About the team
Aeolus is an in-house analytics platform that is heavily used by more than 130,000 employees globally. It integrates data from various data sources into the platform. It facilitates the cleaning, shaping, and organisation of data in a visualised way before it can be analysed. It stores them in an optimal way so that queries over billions of rows of data can be done within seconds. It organises results on dashboards with powerful charts and tables to drill down so that insights can be revealed in an effective way. We are passionate about building the best data analytics platform in the world and are looking for top-notch software engineers to join the talented team.

What you'll be doing:
- Design and write programs to improve the availability, scalability and performance of the system;
- Troubleshooting and solving critical system failures, avoiding the recurrence of similar problems with a systematic and automated approach, and moving forward towards the goal of operations and maintenance automation;
- Influence and guide system design from the perspective of availability, performance and maintainability;
- From the perspective of performance and reliability to lead the resource assessment, leading the system performance optimization and performance problem troubleshooting;
- Participate in the design and improvement of system deployment and operation and maintenance capabilities, including installation, deployment, upgrading, expansion, downsizing, configuration changes, hardware management, etc.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Computer Science related majors, bachelor degree or above;
- 1 year experience in software engineering
- Proficiency in any one of the languages - Java, Rust, Python, Go, can use the language to complete high-quality code writing work;
- Experience in the use of Kubernetes container development;
- Have in-depth understanding of Linux/Unix, networking, large-scale distributed systems, and be proficient in the use of Shell.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in software engineering;
- Familiar with big data ecological related technologies, understanding of Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, Spark, Flink and other big data technology stack, analytical database (ClickHouse/Doris, etc.) experience is especially good;
- Have a strong sense of responsibility and self-drive.
