Skilled Carpenter Nuisance wildlife company based in Austin, Texas. The Position: We’re looking for a Skilled Carpenter. Pay range depends on experience, on-the-job performance and references. • Competitive pay, company phone, a company vehicle*, paid time off for holidays, birthdays and paid time off (PTO) program. • Bonuses, possible commissions, the opportunity for overtime and regular pay raises based on performance. Requirements: • Ideal candidates have a working knowledge of basic construction skills (minimum of 5 years of residential or commercial experience). Siding repair, roofing repair and attic insulation experience are a plus, but, not required. • Candidates should have good attention to detail and be able to multi-task, possess good problem solving and critical thinking skills, be able to organize and maintain equipment, have good knowledge and capabilities in navigating technology, are comfortable working in apps, are able to easily move through attics and tight spaces, are comfortable on ladders up to 32-40 feet and on steep pitch roofs and have a good work ethic. • Must be comfortable working alone or with a team. • Must be reliable and on time for work commitments. • Good driving record, no criminal record, valid driver’s license, valid social security number, high school diploma. • **Sheetrock and siding experience and pest control license a plus. Responsibilities: • Execute exclusion services by sealing roof intersections, mushroom, gable, soffit and other vents, trenching and minor concrete work, installing or repairing access doors and footers, rebuilding chimney chases, siding repairs and deck repairs. • Candidate will also set up traps for animals, remove and/or relocate captures, set up camera systems to monitor wildlife activity, participate in spot clean ups and attic restorations. • Navigate scheduling system/customer database app by entering notes, uploading photos and updating appointment statuses.
