Rhino Construction is looking forHIGHLY SKILLEDandEXPERIENCEDframe-to-finish Carpenters who are serious about their craft and applying their skills tohigh-end residentialremodeling. The right candidate will have strongATTENTION TO DETAIL, maintain clean and organized workspaces, the skill set towork independently, and the collaborative nature to work with a team. As a Rhino carpenter, you will have a broad range of responsibilities and activities from seismic retrofitting and framing to window waterproofing and installs, to interior finishes, custom casework pieces, and cabinet installations. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, be skilled at problem-solving, and able to find solutions to the challenges of remodeling older Seattle homes.

REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 10+ years of Carpentry experience in general residential construction required
• Able to read, understand and interpret construction plans, sketches, and details
• Strong knowledge of the proper sequence of construction and experience with all phases of rough and finish carpentry
• Ability to plan, organize, schedule, prioritize, and take direction
• Intermediate computer and mobile app skills to use job tracking tools
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service and maintain positive client relationships
• Reliable, on time to work with professional attitude and appearance.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work on a consistent basis, including lifting 60+ lbs
• Tools should include all basic hand tools and power tools customarily owned by a carpenter
• Must have own reliable transportation and valid WA state driver’s license
• Must adhere to all safety regulations including COVID-19 safety procedures and PPE requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to)
• Perform carpentry tasks at a skilled journeyman level including, but not limited to; demo, framing, structural hardware, building envelopes to Rhino standards, window water proofing to Rhino standards, correctly install window and multi slide doors, correctly install interior doors and hardware, install base/case millwork, custom wood/finish pieces, correct installation of bathroom hardware, mirrors, cabinets, and hardware.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe working areas throughout the day.
• Work with carpenters and leads to create material lists, order/pick up materials and ensure they are accurate and of good quality and deliver to job sites.
• Work with project manager to pick up fixtures and finishes, ensure they are accurate, and deliver to correct job sites.
• Be organized and ready to work on time.
• Accurate reporting of work hours using app to track by job and task.
• Great communication skills and willing to ask questions when unsure of instructions.
• Professional and positive attitude and appearance.
• Desire to learn and develop carpentry skills.

Please note starting pay will depend on your experience and may go up within 90 days depending on your demonstrated ability. Health Benefits are available on the 1st of the month after your start date. 401K is available after 3 months.

• Blueprint Reading Training or: 1 year (Preferred)
• Bags-On Professional and Proven Carpentry: 7 years (Required)
• Home Remodeling Carpentry: 5 years (Required)
• RESIDENTIAL Framing Carpentry: 5 years (Required)
• RESIDENTIAL Trim Carpentry: 5 years (Required)
License/Certification:
• OSHA 10 (Preferred)
