Skilled Plumber

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plumber and Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on construction sites, assisting with various tasks related to new construction, remodeling and building projects. This role requires a strong work ethic, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople. Duties • Assist in the construction, remodeling, and renovation of residential and commercial properties. • Perform tasks such as sewer and water line installation, pipe threading, and carpentry under the supervision of skilled tradespeople. • Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to construction tasks. • Help maintain a clean and safe work environment on the construction site. • Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently. • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. • Be able to perform plumbing installation/tasks as needed without supervision, ensuring all installations meet safety standards. Qualifications • Previous experience on a construction site is preferred but not mandatory. • Basic knowledge of construction practices, including remodeling techniques. • Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy materials. • Mechanical knowledge is a plus; familiarity with hand tools and power tools is essential. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. • A maintenance person background or experience in carpentry is advantageous.
