Job Summary: TheSkilled Warehouse Worker - Pallet Dismantleris a crucial role responsible for consistently and meticulously breaking down pallets. This role involves an array of assembly line tasks, from identifying damaged pallets and disassembling them, to evaluating and sorting usable components from those that are damaged. What We're Looking For: • Previous experience in pallet repair, woodworking, or construction is preferred. • Knowledge of operating a variety of saws, including their uses and maintenance, is preferred. • Ability to work with high-powered saws in a fast-paced assembly line environment, meeting or exceeding daily production goals and deadlines. • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and imperfections in pallets. • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred; any combination of education and experience will be considered. • A strong commitment to safety and quality standards. • The ability to work cooperatively with a partner. Physical Requirements: • This position requiresprolonged periods of standing and walkingwhile at the assigned station. • Capable oflifting, pushing, and pulling 75 pounds or more repeatedlythroughout the workday. • Requires the ability to perform an array of manual labor tasks. Work Environment: • Most duties are performed in anon-climate-controlled environment. • May occasionally perform tasks that are off-site, which require varying forms of travel. • Hazards in facility production areas require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
