The Pratt & Whitney Military Engines Provisioning team is looking for an individual to be part of an evolving, globally diverse company that's moving fast to shape the future of aviation. Customers all over the world depend on our technology and the people behind it. You will be a part of a six energetic and strong performers team.

In this position you will serve as a data base administrator role for the SLICwave application. In addition, you will leverage your experience in the SLICwave application to support and lead the Data Governance initiative. This position will provide you with the opportunities to collaborate across multiple functional teams within the F135 Sustainment organization and a chance to further your knowledge and experience within Military Engines.

What You Will Do:

• Application Administrator - Manage and oversee application upgrade performed by RTX approved vendor. Validate and Verify application's performance post upgrade. Archive, compare and audit SLIC dataset for various programs (F100, F119, F135). Coordinate with SLICwave vendor to maintain license agreement, requirements and enhancement opportunities.
• Data Governance - Collaborate with Digital Strategy to maintain data integrity and consistency between SLICwave and Hawkeye. Perform data verification and validation to ensure data is complete and reliable within Hawkeye.

Qualifications you Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Systems
• A minimum of 8 years in database functions, Provisioning Data, and data base relation
• Knowledge in Military specifications GEA-ST D0007/13882B
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Systems with 5 years of experience in database functions, Provisioning Data, and data base relation
• Certification - Oracle Database Certification and IBM Certified Database Administrator
• Experience with auditing database, working with SLICwave in prior job

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
