Overview:
TheProject Manager IIIis a senior project leadership role. This position oversees enterprise-level projects, manages high-stakes customer relationships, and mentors mid-level and junior project managers. It requires extensive experience in project execution, team leadership, risk mitigation, and strategic planning.
As a key leader within the project management team,Project Manager IIIwill work closely with executive leadership, sales teams, and operations to ensure successful project delivery while optimizing profitability and process efficiency.Responsibilities:
As an FSG Smart BuildingsProject Manager III, you will:
• Lead and execute high-value, multi-phase projects, ensuring profitability and operational efficiency.
• Develop enterprise-level project strategies, aligning execution with business objectives.
• Work cross-functionally with executive leadership, engineering, procurement, and sales teams to drive process improvements.
• Establish best practices for budgeting, scheduling, and risk mitigation.
• Serve as the primary executive liaison for high-profile clients and partners.
• Negotiate complex contracts and resolve high-impact project challenges.
• Ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership opportunities.
• Implement standardized project management methodologies, ensuring consistency across all projects.
• Identify and introduce efficiency improvements for project tracking, reporting, and execution.
• Train and mentor project administrators, coordinators, entry-level project managers, project manager II, field personnel, and subcontractors to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Ensure projects adhere to financial goals, cost control measures, and compliance regulations.
• Develop and manage financial forecasting models and project profitability reports.Qualifications:

Required
• 7+ years of experience in project management.
• Extensive experience in multi-site, enterprise-level projects.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage executive-level client relationships.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and forecasting.
• Expertise in contract negotiations, vendor management, and process optimization.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management).
• Experience in large-scale Smart Buildings, BAS, EMS, or IoT projects.
• Ability to travel up to 30% based on project needs.
