The SMPO Services Sales Specialist will help develop solution strategies sales plays and present to client sponsors which can include but are not limited to the IT and Line of Business sponsors.
The SMPO Services Sales Specialist is responsible for participating in multi-disciplined solution teams quarterly business reviews and will participate in multiple opportunities concurrently. As a SMPO Services Sales Specialist you will have measurement Targets/Budgets.
The SMPO Services Sales Specialist is responsible to help build Competitive Software Replace Solutions for our Clients providing guidance and leadership for a sales strategy that drives closure of IBM Software and Services Solutions in Canada. Executive and management communications sales forecasting accuracy and coordination are critical to success. The SMPO Services Sales Specialist will build Competitive Replace Win Plans and ROI business cases to win.  Working closely with software sellers client teams technical resources and the broader IBM team to progress and close services engagements and opportunities.
- 5+ Years Sales Experience
- 5+ Years Mainframe Experience
- Excellent communication skills across various functional teams and executive management including the ability to communicate between technical and non-technical contributors
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of Products
