Mmanages and optimizes the performance, security, and reliability of databases in the Snowflake Data Cloud platform with below Roles and responsibilities .

Experience in Cloud(Azure or GCP) and Automation Platforms(Terraform , Azure DevOps , Python or Shell scripting) is Must
Good to have : DBA Experience in another DB Platforms Postgress , MySQL and Mongo DB

Understand of snowflake architecture and database concepts in intermediate level.

• Security and compliance
Implementing and managing security measures like data encryption, access controls, and network policies
• Backup and disaster recovery
Planning and managing disaster recovery strategies and data retention policies
• Infrastructure
Scaling up infrastructure and building automation to optimize the environment
• Database administration
Identifying and performing core database administration, such as monitoring databases and troubleshooting errors
• Tools
Investigating, testing, and deploying new tools for data and database management
• User management
Onboarding users, creating and managing users, and migrating users from other platforms
• Storage
Creating and managing storage integrations, db.objects, stages, and file formats
• Cost control
Creating dashboards on preview apps to compute costs and storage
• Updates
Staying up-to-date with the latest Snowflake releases and updates, and implementing them as needed
