JOB OVERVIEW At Giordano’s, we’re more than just iconic Chicago-style stuffed deep dish pizza—we’re a brand built on quality, hospitality, and community. We’re looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Coordinator to join our Marketing team and help us share the Giordano’s experience with fans everywhere. The Social Media Coordinator will play a key role in creating and managing Giordano’s presence across social media platforms. From showcasing our legendary pizza to engaging with loyal fans, you’ll be responsible for telling our story in fresh, engaging, and authentic ways. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented creator who thrives on collaboration, lives for trending content, and has a love for food and hospitality. REPORTS TODirector of Marketing and Public Relations KEY RELATIONSHIPS Internal Corporate Office Staff, Restaurant Managers, Americana Managers, Executive Leadership External Vendors, Suppliers, Third Party Partners, Giordano’s Guests KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop, schedule, and publish content across all Giordano’s social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, etc.). - Monitor social media channels, respond to comments/messages, and actively engage with our community. - Stay on top of trends, memes, and emerging platforms to keep Giordano’s content timely and relevant. - Assist with content creation, including photography, videography, and graphics, to capture the brand’s voice and personality. - Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, culinary, eCommerce, etc.) to support campaigns, promotions, events, and new product launches. - Track and report on key performance metrics to measure engagement, reach, and growth. - Support influencer and partnership activations, including outreach, communication, and content tracking. - Maintain brand consistency and uphold Giordano’s visual and verbal identity across all channels. QUALIFICATIONS: - 3+ years of professional experience in social media, marketing, or digital content creation (restaurant/retail/food & beverage experience a plus). - Strong copywriting skills with an eye for engaging, brand-right storytelling. - Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (Instagram, TikTok, Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social.) - Basic design and video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite.) - Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. - A proactive mindset, creativity, and passion for food culture and digital engagement. - When needed - must be able to monitor the Giordano’s social media accounts during non-traditional hours including but not limited to nights, weekends, and holidays. - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL ABILITIES - Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and/or working on a computer. - Ability to move about the office occasionally (accessing files/storage, office equipment, computers, and other office productivity devices, attending meetings, etc.) is required. - Must be able to lift up to twenty (20) pounds, when necessary.
