Social Media Editor - Women's Lifestyle

What you'll be doing…

This is a rare chance to take complete ownership of social media for the world’s fastest-growing women’s lifestyle brand. woman&home celebrates women over 40, and your content will be a critical string in the brand’s bow. As Social Media Editor, you will push all the channels into new territories, increase growth and audience engagement. Reporting to the Editor, you will be well-versed in social tactics and translate your insights into activations that capture our audience and lead referrals. You will create social-first content across a variety of platforms and ensure that it meets brand guidelines and delivers commercial opportunities.

• Lead woman&home’s social as a strategist and content creator, working in a smart and efficient way to find the maximum potential for the channels. 
• Innovatively, and organically find follower, engagement, and referral growth by impeccable social calendar planning and close collaboration with the editorial team.
• Create, image source, schedule, and publish social posts for daily content across all woman&home’s social channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Flipboard)
• Always be switched-on and reactive to what’s happening in pop culture and social media
• Editorial nous to build-brand responses.
• Monitor social channel indicators and analytics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis Provide insights on the latest social trends, technologies, and competitor activities
• Be an ambassador for the brand and in-house content creator

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…

• A background in social media, and experience within Women's Lifestyle
• Manage your time effectivly, organisational skills
• Visual and photographic skills to create your own assets for social channels, such as low-lift video or self-shot content. Familiar with Final Cut, Adobe Suite.
• Experienced in publishing, scheduling and analytics tools, and confidence in interpreting and explaining data. 
• An interest in the design and interiors sector, understanding what makes an on-brand image and knowing what makes a fantastic story for the woman&home audience.
• Experience with social media platforms and their nuances, best practices and latest developments.

This is a Hybrid role from our London Paddington Office, working three days from the office, two from home
