Social Media & Graphic Design Assistant - Design Firm

Marketing Assistant (Graphic Design + Social Media) Job Overview We are an award-winning architecture, planning, and design firm seeking a Marketing Assistant to support day-to-day marketing needs. This role designs compelling collateral, manages social media (~2 posts/week), completes a variety of marketing tasks, and provides friendly backup for front desk/phones. Responsibilities • Draft copy, design graphics, source imagery, and schedule/publish social posts (~2x/week); primarily Instagram and Facebook, with LinkedIn as needed; track basic metrics. • Produce presentations, one-pagers, social graphics, event materials, and assist with proposals/qualifications as needed, while maintaining brand standards. • Perform general marketing tasks, including award submittals, photography, and events. • Provide professional backup coverage for the front desk and multi-line phones. Qualifications • Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, strong Photoshop, and other Creative Suites programs. • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word. • Hands-on experience posting for an organization across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. • Strong visual composition, typography, and layout skills; clear, concise copywriting and careful proofreading. • Excellent organization and time management across multiple deadlines. • Warm, professional demeanor and collaborative mindset. • Experience: 1–3+ years in a marketing/design role (AEC industry experience a plus). • Portfolio required: Include InDesign-heavy samples (proposals/sheets/presentations) and social content examples with your resume. Schedule & Compensation • Monday-Friday, business hours; occasional extended hours for deadlines/events. • Competitive compensation, DOE.
