SUMMARY: Reporting directly to the Director of Social Media Marketing,Heritage's Social Media Specialist will be responsible for creating a social media strategy, executing day-to-day posting, engagement, to grow online presence and drive web traffic.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned

  • Work independently and collaboratively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment to write, develop, review and edit compelling and engaging social media content while ensuring strategically appropriate messaging and accurar cy and adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Manage day-to-day content for our social media channels on Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Moderate and engage with followers to increase organic interactions. Includes: replying to social comments, mentions, and direct messages.
  • Maintain an editorial calendar for key social media initiatives in partnership with the Social Media Director
  • Plan and execute new short-form video concepts that meet expectations of client.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • A bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience are required.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
  • Proficient in Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok
  • Knowledge of Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Bitly
