Partner Manager & Video Content Strategist

Palo Alto Software is seeking an experienced Social Media Video Content Creator to join our extraordinary team. You will be responsible for building audiences on our social media platforms by developing video content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc. Our goal is to attract and engage startups, entrepreneurs, and small business owners with informative, educational, and engaging video content.
This full-time, permanent, exempt position reports to the Director of Marketing. The starting pay may range from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience.

About this role

Key Responsibilities:

Video Content Strategy & Production

  • Develop engaging video content strategies and plans targeting key customer audiences
  • Drive video production by conceptualizing creative ideas, writing scripts, identifying on-camera talent, managing shoots, editing footage, etc.
  • Optimize posting cadence on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and other platforms for maximum views
  • Analyze video performance and provide data-driven recommendations to refine strategies
  • Collaborate with partners and influencers on co-marketing video opportunities

What success looks like:

Objective: Grow and scale our audiences on YouTube and key social media/video channels.

  • Well-defined video content strategy and roadmap tied to business goals
  • Strong video view growth and engagement rates across owned, earned, and paid channels
     

Objective: Convert video viewers into customers

  • A video content strategy that attracts, educates, and eventually converts viewers into customers.
  • Measurable impact on adding prospects to our content and sales funnels

Objective: Build productive relationships with powerful partners and influencers who can expand our audience. 

  • Significant year-over-year growth in the number of active partnerships and attributed revenue
  • Increased brand visibility and users are driven by partner efforts

What you bring to the job: 

  • Passion for supporting startups and small businesses
  • A willingness to learn about business planning and financial management topics
  • Expertise in social media platforms and experience creating audiences for video content
  • Experience and expertise in developing video content strategies that build audiences
  • An analytical and metrics-focused mindset, with a deep understanding of social media platform performance
  • Self-starter comfortable taking initiative
  • Continuous learner, up-to-date on digital marketing trends

Relevant education and experience: The following contributes to success in this role, but isn’t required if you have demonstrated abilities to be successful in this kind of work.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Significant experience in video creation, editing, and production
