- 15-18 years of experience of successfully working collaboratively to translate business goals into technical solutions and advising teams on optimal technology strategies to achieve business results.
- Drive the architecture and implementation of scalable enterprise-grade solutions on IBM Cloud and hybrid environments. You will blend deep Java/J2EE expertise with microservices DevOps and emerging agentic AI techniques—designing frameworks for autonomous agents RAG-powered assistants and LLM orchestration. This role partners closely with product teams to deliver robust explainable and user-centric services across industries.
Key Responsibilities - Architect and develop microservices-based platforms on IBM Cloud (Cloud Foundry Kubernetes) and hybrid landscapes
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines infrastructure-as-code (Terraform IBM Cloud Schematics) monitoring (Grafana Dynatrace) and automated incident management
- Lead the integration of agentic AI capabilities: LangChain workflows retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) LLM orchestration and context-aware chatbots
- Define governance models and onboarding flows that ensure transparency security and scalability for internal and external stakeholders
- Mentor and guide cross-functional teams conduct code and design reviews and foster agile best practices (Scrum Kanban)
- Collaborate with product and research groups to embed AI ethics explainability and data privacy into every service
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Proven track record in transforming monolithic systems into cloud-native microservices
- Hands-on experience building unified messaging or event streaming services with GitOps approaches
- Prior work on RAG-driven chatbots context-aware assistants or cognitive search solutions
- Familiarity with IBM watsonx Orchestrate and watsonx.ai
- Contributions to patents open-source AI frameworks or speaking engagements at industry conference
