Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is building a next-generation platform to manage internal libraries and build artifacts. This role focuses on architecting a scalable, highly available, and reliable system that plays a critical role in OCI's build, deployment, and security patching processes across all internal teams. As a key contributor, you will lead the design and implementation of systems for managing, updating, and consuming build artifacts. You will collaborate closely with service teams and CI/CD stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with the broader OCI ecosystem and maintain operational resilience. Key responsibilities include: • Design & Implementation: Architect and implement a high-scalability service capable of handling thousands of requests per minute. • Migration: Develop a solution for migrating petabytes of historical artifacts from the legacy system to the new platform, ensuring data consistency and integrity. • CI/CD Integration: Seamlessly integrate the artifact management system into OCI’s CI/CD pipelines across all services. • Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews, and documentation to ensure the system is robust, maintainable, and aligned with best practices. • Monitoring & Improvement: Track adoption and usage patterns, identify potential gaps, and drive continuous improvements to optimize system performance. Qualifications • Proven experience in designing and developing scalable distributed systems. • Strong proficiency in cloud infrastructure, particularly Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and CI/CD workflows. • Experience with data migration strategies for large-scale systems. • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with various engineering teams. • Expertise in monitoring system performance and driving operational improvements.
