Software Developer

Entity: Oracle America, Inc. Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.34315) Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation. Position requires: • Advanced programming in Java; • API design, Swagger and OpenAPI; • Linux operating systems; • Containers and supporting orchestration systems including Docker and Kubernetes; • Implementing cloud solutions; • CI/CD Build Pipelines and GIT; • Database as a Service; and • Internet protocols and standards including DNS, REST, TLS and HTTP.
