Introduction
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join the webMethods Development team in Sofia for a maternity cover position. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of key products such as webMethods Command Central webMethods Deployer and other integration tools. This role is essential for driving innovation and ensuring the reliability of our enterprise integration solutions.
Your role and responsibilities
- Design implement and maintain Java-based backend components
- Collaborate with team members across functions to deliver high-quality features
- Participate in code reviews testing and debugging activities
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
- Work with containerization and orchestration tools to support modern development practices
Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
- Experience in Java development
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Experience with automated testing practices and tools
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions
- Knowledge of build automation tools like Gradle
- Exposure to container platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker
