We are looking for a SDET to focus on our EverPro Edge platform, a new initiative within EverCommerce that is aimed at helping SMBs save, learn, and grow. We have recently launched our rewards program, coupled with personalized, and engaging content to help empower businesses to thrive. We are a small team and it’s still early days so you’ll have the opportunity to play an important role in defining and building the solution as we experiment and evolve.

Responsibilities:

• CS Fundamentals. You have an understanding of algorithms, data structures, design patterns and data storage technologies. You are able to select the right tool for the right job. 
• Delivery Focused. Code on a laptop doesn’t solve problems. You know that a project is only done once it's delivered and validated. Residential construction is a large problem to tackle. Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

• 2-3 years of industry experience working as a SDET with agile product development teams. 
• Hands on experience with modern testing tools and frameworks such as BrowserStack, Webdriver.io, Appium, Playwright, and others. 
• Basic knowledge of and experience working with CI systems such as Jenkins, CircleCI, etc. 
• Experience in performing detailed root cause analysis up and down the software stack using a variety of debugging tools. 
• The ability to communicate clearly and concisely about deeply technical topics in an easy-to-understand way. 
• You can deal with ambiguity and are experienced in helping to generate refined acceptance criteria for development work. 

Bonus Qualities:

• You have worked at other small to mid-sized companies that went through periods of growth and team scaling  

• Experience doing Accessibility testing  

• Experience working with cloud microservice architectures 

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code for use in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Heroku or GCP 

• You hold a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or in a similar field. While not a requirement, it helps to have a common baseline of understanding of CS principles when working with other technical people. 

Where: Remote (The EverPro Edge team is mostly located near our offices in Denver, CO, and in Toronto, ON).

The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $100,000 to $130,000 CAD per year in most locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
