Core Requirements and Responsibilities: Â
Essential job functions included but are not limited to the following:Â

Write reliable UI and API tests to increase testing coverageÂ

Develop database fixtures and testing hooks to facilitate automationÂ
-
Develop scripts and tools for our continuous integration systemÂ
-
Research new testing tools and technologiesÂ
-
Review specs and technical designs from a testability perspectiveÂ
-
Work closely with product and development teams to understand requirements and technical specificationsÂ
-
Create test plans, test cases, and automation for new features and enhancements to existing featuresÂ
-
Plan, design and implement automation frameworks for various applications from frontend to backendÂ
-
Setup and monitor continuous integration for build, deploy and automated testsÂ
-
Work with support and implementation team to investigate production support issues and perform root cause analysis as neededÂ
-
Perform exploratory testing as neededÂ

Ability to define problems, collect data, analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsÂ

Ability to manage a broad range of deliverables in an ever-changing environmentÂ

Working knowledge of OOP coding conceptsÂ

Qualifications:

2-3 years of professional experience with Java/Python
-
Experience with Locust
-
Experience coding in a modern scripting language (e.g., JavaScript, C#, etc.)Â

Experience writing SQL (you should be able to join tables)Â
-
Experience testing JSON-based APIs, RestAssured and web applicationsÂ
-
An understanding of Selenium 2/WebDriverÂ
-
An interest in understanding how systems behave (and misbehave)Â
-
An interest in learning about real estate and investingÂ
-
2-3 years' experience in software engineeringÂ
-
Experience in agile / scrum methodologiesÂ
-
Excellent communication skillsÂ
-
2-3 years' experience building and executing Automated TestsÂ
Additional Requirements and Details:

Travel required up to 10% of the time.Â

Located and working from an office location.Â

Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.

Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (working on a computer, etc.).Â
