Do you thrive at the intersection of development and testing, and have a knack for automating everything? We're looking for aSoftware Development Engineer in Test (SDET)to join our dynamicDevSecOps Development teamand play a vital role in transforming how we deliver .NET and Angular applications in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. As an SDET, you'll go beyond typical testing. You'll: • Design and maintain automated UI and API test frameworks using C# (.NET Core), Playwright, and Postman/Newman. • Integrate those tests seamlessly into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, creating reliable quality gates that prevent bugs from slipping into production. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Cloud Engineers, Developers, QA Analysts, and Security Specialists to ensure our apps are testable, secure, and resilient across environments. • Read and interpret TypeScript/Angular code to support robust front-end testing. • Embed security testing (SAST, DAST, dependency scans) directly into the development lifecycle. • Troubleshoot flaky tests, optimize coverage, and evangelize test automation best practices across the team What you're great at and what we're looking for: • 3–5 years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines—Azure DevOps preferred. • Strong programming skills in C# (.NET Core/ASP.NET). • Experience testing Angular applications with a working knowledge of TypeScript. • Familiarity with tools like Playwright, Postman/Newman, and a passion for clean, maintainable test code. • Experience implementing security testing within pipelines. • Strong understanding of testing types—unit, integration, regression—and how to measure testing success (coverage, reliability, and defect detection). • A proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating across teams. Under the New York Convenience Rule, all employees, regardless of their residence in other states, will be taxed at the New York State tax rate. Employees may also have additional state-specific tax obligations depending on where they live.
