Publica by IAS is the leading Advertising Platform for Connected Television (CTV). As audiences shift from Cable TV to Digital, Publica’s goal is to power the next generation of ad experiences on the big screen.

What we need to build together

The core of our platform is an Over-the-top (OTT) bidding solution that enables content publishers to run a unified auction between their direct sales and 30+ video Sell Side Platforms (SSPs). In addition, we provide an Audience Management solution based on our integrations with LiveRamp, Transunion, Cadent, etc as well as a best-in-class Server-Side Ad Insertion solution. 

Software Engineer 

We are looking for engineers that are ready to dive in and contribute across the stack. Our engineers tackle a variety of technical challenges, from building features and designing and implementing API methods, to improving the performance and reliability of our systems, which handle millions of ad requests per minute. 

Our services are built using GoLang, React, Typescript, MySQL, and other tools that we know and trust. Expertise in these areas is a huge plus, but familiarity with other common web languages and other relational databases is a fine substitute. At Publica, engineers are empowered to make real contributions and encouraged to grow by strategizing and designing features. We genuinely enjoy collaborating with one another, and value the ability to work closely with product managers, ask lots of questions, and own team features.

What skills you should have:

• Ideally 2-4 years' experience as a Software or DevOps engineer 
• Demonstrable ability to code in your preferred language.Experience contributing to technical architecture discussions and helping drive technical decisions
• Experience writing readable, testable, and maintainable code
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience explaining technical concepts, and communicating clearly in cross-functional teams
• Positive attitude towards taking responsibility, learning new tools and technologies, and making immediate contributions to our product
• Bonus: some experience with infrastructure and basic DevOps is a plus!

California Applicants: The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $150,000 actual pay may vary based on experience or geographic location.
