About the Role:

You will help develop AI-based systems integrated into Vercel's products. To ensure success as an engineer on our AI team, you should have substantial experience developing and deploying AI-based software, and the skills to lead a team of engineers on that journey.

Who You Are:

• You have at least 5+ years of experience with an understanding of machine learning algorithms and models.
• Experienced with popular machine learning frameworks.
• Experienced in feature engineering to enhance model performance.
• Familiar with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for deploying and scaling ML models.
• You have strong software development and problem solving skills.

What You Will Do:

• Contribute to Vercel's AI roadmap
• Report to the VP of AI and provide updates related to our artificial intelligence initiatives.
• Design and implement AI and machine learning systems
• Troubleshoot and bug fix
• Identify bottlenecks and improve software efficiency
• Write technical documents

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $175,000.00 - $245,000.00. This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills, experience and location. Pay ranges outside San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your location during the hiring process.
